Salesforce won't connect

TroubleshootingFor adminsReviewed Guides: Salesforce

You click Connect Salesforce in Workspace settings → Integrations & apps → Integrations → CRM and it doesn’t finish.

  • Connect Salesforce is greyed out. The Salesforce app comes with the Corporate and Enterprise plans. The CRM screen says which plans include it.
  • You don’t see Integrations at all. Only owners and admins can connect Salesforce.
  • Salesforce says the app is blocked or needs approval. Your org only lets approved apps connect. Ask your Salesforce admin to allow Freesbe in Setup → Connected Apps OAuth Usage, or to give your profile access to it, then try again.
  • You signed in but landed on the wrong org. To connect a sandbox, tick Connect a sandbox before you click Connect Salesforce; leave it unticked for production. If Salesforce signs you in to the wrong org automatically, sign out of Salesforce in that browser first.
  • “That Salesforce link expired.” The connection has to finish within 15 minutes, in the same browser and as the same Freesbe admin who started it. Start again from Integrations.
  • “The request was cancelled.” Someone clicked Deny on Salesforce’s page. Start again and click Allow.
  • “Salesforce didn’t accept the connection.” Try again. If it keeps happening, check that your Salesforce user can use the API (the API Enabled permission) and isn’t locked out.

See Salesforce. Still stuck? Choose ? → Contact support in Freesbe’s top bar.
