Zoho Recruit alerts aren't posting
Something changed in Zoho Recruit, but no alert shows up in the channel you picked.
Fix it
Section titled “Fix it”- Check the connection. In Workspace settings → Integrations & apps → Integrations → Recruiting, Zoho Recruit should say Connected. If it says Needs reconnecting, someone removed Freesbe under Connected Apps in Zoho, or the connecting user was deactivated: click Reconnect.
- Just connected? If Zoho Recruit’s card says Freesbe is still asking Zoho Recruit to send it changes, give it a few minutes. Freesbe keeps trying until Zoho takes it.
- Check the alert is on, and takes that change. An alert marked Off doesn’t post. Open Edit from its ⋯ menu and check Alerts to post includes it: a new applicant needs New candidates, a new interview needs Interviews scheduled.
- Check the status’s name. Candidates hired goes by the candidate’s status: Hired, Joined, Offer-Accepted, or one of your own with “hired” or “joined” in its name. Any other status change is a Candidates changing status alert. Changes to other fields, like a candidate’s email address, don’t post.
- Check who connected it. Freesbe sees only the records the connecting Zoho Recruit user can see. If they can’t see a candidate, its alerts don’t post. Reconnect as a user with wider access.
- Was it before the alert? Alerts start with what happens after you add or turn on the alert. Older records aren’t posted.
- Check the channel. Alerts don’t post into an archived channel. Use Send a test alert: if it says the channel is archived or gone, edit the alert and pick another.
If Zoho Recruit won’t connect at all, the steps in Zoho CRM won’t connect apply too: it’s the same Zoho sign-in.
